The MP Khalis Esho, head of the Chaldean Syriac Assyrian Popular Council in the Iraqi Council of Representatives, visited the headquarters of the National Union of Kurdistan in Baghdida, and was received by the official of Hamdania Comita, Younis Jasem Ahmed and a number of the Union cadres, where the MP Esho offered his congratulations to the Union’s leadership and organizations on the occasion of the thirty- seventh anniversary of its foundation,  wishing them a further progress, prosperity and success.
  Then the MP headed to the Qaraqosh local Committee of the Democratic Party of Kurdistan, and was received by the official of the Committee, Khosrow Saadoun and a number of the Party cadres, after that the two sides discussed the situation of the CSA people in the region, the size of their suffering, how they have been targeted, and the continuous abuses on their lands in the areas of the Nineveh Plain, which included the distribution of lands to the non-native people in the areas.
  The two sides also talked about the legislations relevant to the prevention of the demographic change in the areas of our people, in order to maintain their historical, religious, and national identity, and under the Constitution, which states in Article 23 / III - B: forbidden to own property for the purposes of the demographic change.
  At the end of the visits, the MP Esho and the delegation accompanying him, which included Riad Kario, director of the PC list Office and Sabah Rafo, member of the PC, were bid a warm farewell as have been received.
