A delegation from the Chaldean Syriac Assyrian Political Organizations Assembly leadership, coming from home to participate in the 79 conference for the American Assyrian National Union, on 2 - 9 - 2012 in the city of Phoenix, Arizona, U.S. met with the head of the Union, Mr. Adad Ashur Sen, the members, William Yomarn and Sargon Lewy and a number of other members; during the meeting the two sides discussed a number of issues concerning our CSA at homeland, emphasizing on the legitimate rights of our people demanded by the POA,  in order to keep on consolidating their existence in the national and historic lands of our forefathers, including : the development of the province in the Nineveh Plain on administrative and geographical basis, for all the components coexisting there; granting the autonomy in the Kurdistan Region; giving share for our people in presidential positions; the private and public employment; the fair representation of our people in the provincial and districts councils and in the Federal Court and the High Commission for Elections and Human  Rights Commission; the immediate cancellation of all legislation and policies aiming to make the demographic change, which is taking place under any name or title and the lifting of all the encroachments on our people territories. The views of all the parties were congruent in all the issues raised in the meeting, on both pan-national and national levels, and at the conclusion an important statement of the AANU was issued, to ensure the adoption of most of the demands of the POA and the legitimate rights of our people.
