Toronto - This year, Iraqi Christians abroad have launched many local and international channels, including Assyrian TV, an evangelical Christian TV ministry based in Toronto, Canada.
Their vision according to their website is "to
Reveal the love of our heavenly Father to all people including the
Assyrian Community in Toronto and around the World and be involved in
God almighty’s plan to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ."
As a religious-based channel, Assyrian TV programs include Christian teachings including one titled ''Word of God.''
Assyrian TV should not be confused with Assyria TV of Sweden, the latter being a news and cultural network.
