A voice from Sweden (2008-11-08 21:00:30)
I am one of the Syriac,Chaldean,Assyrien who has been waiting eagerly to hear somthing from somone from a responsible position about the terrible events in Ninwa.
I have always tried to sympathize with all the minorities in their struggle to get their natural rights in living i peace, freedom, democraty and security.I have friends from many minorities and the kurds are one of them.We as minorities have been suffering a lot and for a long time and I hope that it is time for us to do our best to help each other to live in peace, freedom, security and mutual respect with all our iraqi brothers and sisters
I was suspicious from the beginning when I heard that some kurds mere accused in being involved i ethnic cleaning of the Syriac, chaldean,Assyrien in Ninwa. It was somwhat difficult for me to believe that someone from a minority like the kurds which has suffered so much during the last fourty years was suddenly interested in oppressen another minority
.
Your words give me and I hope many others of my people the Syriac,Chaldean,Assyrien som kind of optimism.I think that too many iraqies are eager to hear and know about the real reasons behind the massacre of the Syriac, chaldean,Assyrien just in Ninwa.
I hope that justice in our counry Iraq is going to find those who are responsible and guilty and punishes them.
All the iraqies have the right to live in peace, freedom and democracy .
I want to thank you for giving me and sure many others of my people some kind of hope .
